PLANT/PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR : CHINHOYI

⦁ The Planb’Production Supervisor will organize and oversee the manufacturing and the maintenance of the plant equipment.
⦁ Expected to have deep know-how in plant maintenance and production procedures.
⦁ Ensure an efficient and productrve manufacturing process that meets customer requirements and satisfaction
⦁ Liaise with other departments to formulate business objectives, and being able to translate company and customer requirements into products.
⦁ Good understanding of costing, ability to estimate costs and prepare budgets
⦁ Ability to do resource levelling and organizing workflow to meet specificationsand deadlines
⦁ Be a hands-on supervisor with capacity to monitor production processes and equipment to resolve problems or issues
⦁ Approve maintenance work, purchasing ofequipmentetc.
⦁ Enforce compliance to health, environmental, quality and safety procedures and precautions
⦁ Ensure plant compliance to statutory and by-laws regulatory requirements

Requirements and skills

⦁ Proven experience as planb’production supervisor, engineer or manager
⦁ Deep knowledge and understanding of plant/production management
⦁ Understanding of environmental, quality standards and health & safety regulations
⦁ Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
⦁ Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
⦁ A minimum of HND qualification (but journeyman qualification. NO.
ND with vast experience as plant operators can be considered) in Production Technology/Engineering or relevant field is preferred.
⦁ 5yrs working experience as plant operator/artisan of 3yrs must have been a Plant/production supervisor
