Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate would be responsible for:
• Providing direction and ensuring smooth day to day activities related to the operation and maintenance of the plant.
• Ensuring that the plant is operating smoothly and all the production targets are met.
• Liaising with the vehicle registry and related offices pertaining the number plates.
• Ensuring that the plant is operating efficiently and update all the production figures.
• Ensuring that the quality of the product and responsive action to queries from clients in and outside the University.
• Providing leadership and support and any other duties as assigned by the Executives of the project.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

Applicants must possess the following:
• A Master’s Degree in a relevant engineering degree of related field.
• A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or related field.
• A minimum of five years relevant experience with workshops, equipment, operation of plants and maintenance in related field.
• Highly computer literacy.
• Mature, creative individual with the ability to work under pressure and to balance competing priority and meeting deadlines.
• A clean criminal record.
