Delta Beverages is the household name behind cold beverages in Zimbabwe. We manufacture, market, and distribute high quality Lager beer, Sorghum beer and Sparkling Beverages by any measure.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position, which has arisen in the Sparkling Beverages Business Unit.
The Job
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful applicant will be, among other key aspects, responsible for: –
Planning scheduled maintenance and projects
Developing and implementing asset care plan
Optimising plant equipment availability and reliability
Facilitating problem solving and team development
Managing fixed costs within set budgets
Adherence to SHEQ standards
Conducting maintenance audits and inspections
Managing Human Resources
Effective team communication and dynamics
Driving the Autonomous Maintenance and Asset Care GEMs effectively

- Job Application Details The Person The ideal applicant should possess the following qualifications and attributes: – BSc Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical Registered Engineer At least three years’ experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Graduate Traineeship will be a distinct advantage. Working knowledge of SHEQ and manufacturing systems Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems such as COSWIN Ability to work and make decisions under pressure. Ability to work under minimum supervision. Proven leadership skills.
