Mutasa Rural District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to for the following vacant position:
Planning Technician – Grade 8
Reports To: The Planner
Duties And Responsibilities
Siting and pegging of stands
Production of pegging diagrams and sketch map preparation
Layout designing of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional stands
Maintaining and updating pegg. stand records and regi.er Building plan examination and appraisals
Conduct land occupation and data capture
Conducting building inspections and ensuring sound workmanship Ensuring that buildings constructions adhere to standards.
Enforcing the model building by-laws and the Public Health Act.
Ensuring that the are no illegal development. taking place through Development Control.
Preparation of Big of Quantities for CV, dl projects
Production of projects programme of works and implementation there of
Qualifications And Experience
At least 5 O’ Levels including English and Maths.
At least Diploma in Rural and Urban Planning from a recognised college or institution.
At lea. two (2) years post qualification experience in a similar position in a Rural District Council is an added advantage.
A clean class four drivers’ licence is an added advantage.
Ability to ride a motorbike is an added advantage.
At least 25 years old and mu.. mature.
A clean criminal record.
Must be a Zimbabwean citizen.
