A leading Private and Christian school (Registered Cambridge and ZIMSEC Centre) in Harare is urgently seeking the services of a passionate Primary Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join its educational team. As a key member of our staff, the candidate will be responsible for teaching PE up to grade 7 and supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Interpret primary school HBC PE syllabus.
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students (ECD to 7).
– Assess students’ program at all levels of engagement.
– Teach and guide students in carrying out HBC School based projects.
– Maintain a positive and respectful indoor/outdoor environment.
– Conduct swimming lessons at all levels.
– Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB RELATED SKILLS

– A primary school teaching certificate/diploma with PE being the major subject and from a reputable teacher’s training college.
– Previous teaching track record and experience of not less than 3 years at a private school.
– Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
– Ability to interpret newly introduced HBC.
– A team player with good communication skills and professional ethics.
– Computer literate.
– Ability to speak effectively among executives, clients/customers, and other employees.
– Ability to demonstrate highest level of ethics.
– A strong Christian background and a practicing Christian.
– Be a matured person.

REMUNERATION

A commensurate attractive remuneration in accordance with the School’s Terms and Conditions of Service shall be provided.
