PHARMACIST (HEAD OFFICE X1)
Reporting to the Medical Officer Occupational Health Services the successful candidate will maintain full control over delivering stocking and labelling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
Key Outputs
Reviewing and executing the medical officers’ prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
Organising the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
Maintaining full control over delivering, stocking and labelling of medicine for the Authority and monitoring the condition to prevent expiring or deterioration. Listening carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
Providing assistance with other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/temperature measurements etc.
Preparing medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient.
Keeping records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.
Keeping abreast of advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Complying with all applicable legal rules regulations and procedures.
Qualifying Requirements
Degree in Pharmacy.
Clean class 4 Driver’s Licence.
Open Practising Certificate from the relevant authority.
2-3 years relevant experience.
