Key Output — Duties

Secretarial and administrative services to the department

Resnonsibilities,

  • Welcoming visitors
  • Typing all confidential correspondences, minutes, memos agendas and reports for the department
  • Taking minutes during departmental meetings
  • Making appointments for the Departmental Head
  • Maintaining the Departmental Head’s diary
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the office
  • Answering all general enquiries and distributing/delivering urgent mail, messages, agenda and reports
  • Making travel and accommodation arrangements for the Head of Department
  • Managing departmental petty cash
  • Maintaining of the incoming and outgoing mail register.
  • Filling all departmental correspondence
  • Ordering and distribution of stationary

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies
  • Relevant Degree will be an added advantage
