OmniContact, a leading multinational BPO company, is hiring a Payment Posting Specialist to accurately record, verify, and reconcile insurance and patient payments in the practice management system. The role ensures timely payment posting and supports efficient revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Post insurance & patient payments (ERA, EFT, online, POS, etc.)

• Reconcile remittances & resolve unapplied payments

• Support daily deposit reconciliation & match posted payments with bank deposits

• Review EOBs & payment files; flag errors for Revenue Integrity

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation

• Monitor KPIs like posting accuracy, timeliness, and reconciliation errors

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Required)

• 2+ years in medical billing or payment posting

• Experience with EOBs, payer remits & posting workflows

• Familiarity with EMR/PM systems (Athena preferred)

Skills and Competencies

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and reconciliation skills

• Proficiency in Excel, payment systems, and clearing house portals

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high volume environment
