Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Smelter in Kwekwe. Applications are invited from
suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following positions on a fixedterm contract basis.
Paste Handler
Grade : FA 3
Duties And Responsibilities
• Collecting and loading paste cylinders into front-end loader or cargo net
• Blowing down dust on the paste gallery
• Brushing and blowing paste cylinders to remove dust
• Assisting pasting team leaders to add paste cylinders into electrodes
• To give directions to the team leader operating paste hoist when lifting cylinders from the paste pad
• Do any other duties that may be assigned by the superior
• Ensure good housekeeping in all working areas
Qualifications And Experience
• At least 3 `O` Level passes
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in a Smelting environment or Plant.
• Should have a pass-out certificate as a paste handler according to Zimasco (Pvt) Ltd standards
• Commendable disciplinary and Safety record
