Job Description
Our organization is looking for a qualified and competent person, to join our Procurement and Logistics department as a Parts Picker. The incumbent receives an order request and proceeds to various packer warehouse sections picking the various spares/parts according to order and catalogue number.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Reports any problems within the warehouse.
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Follows good safe work practices.
• Always keeps the Branch tidy by maintaining a clean, sanitary, orderly and a safe work area.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics and English.
• 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of the Motor Spare Parts is an advantage.
