1. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
1.1. Part-Time Lecturer (1 Post)
Key Responsibilities
- The candidate must be able of teach and supervise undergraduate students’ research work and carry out research.
- The candidate must be able to teach the following module:
- Theory of Mechanisms and Machines.
- I. Teaching: The incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and/or Faculty guidelines and standards.
- II. University Service and Community Engagement: The incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences, committees and seminars, among others.
- III. Research: The incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University.
- IV. Innovation: The incumbent is expected to engage in innovations which should lead to production of goods and services.
- V. Industrialisation: Through commercialisation of goods and services.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering or related field.
- University teaching experience is an added advantage.
