We are looking for an Experienced hands-on Panel Shop Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our new business unit Drivus Panel Shop.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Direct daily workshop workflow, schedule repairs, and assign job cards to panel beaters and technicians.
- Estimating & Insurance: Accurately assess repair costs and time, liaise directly with Insurance Assessors and manage supplemental claims.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect vehicles at various repair stages to ensure structural integrity and paint finishes meet safety and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, explain repair processes, and handle complaints efficiently to ensure high satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Monitor the parts department to ensure availability and manage workshop equipment and consumables.
- Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the Drivus Panel shop.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven management or foreman experience in an auto body/panel shop.
- Technical Background: Strong hands-on knowledge of Auto body Repair and refinishing.
- Computer Literacy: Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and basic business applications (Microsoft Office, inventory systems)
- Leadership: Ability to delegate effectively, motivate staff, and enforce safety protocols.
- Negotiation: Proficient at Negotiating repair quotes and Authorizations with insurance providers.
- Organization: Strong multitasking skills to manage New projects and meeting tight targets deadlines.
