Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position that has arisen in the Sparkling Beverages Business. Incumbent will be based at Belmont Plant- Bulawayo
THE JOB
Reporting to the Packaging Team Leader, the successful applicant will be, among other key challenging aspects, responsible for:
Duties And Responsibilities
• Maintaining good housekeeping in the packaging hall.
• Moving packaging materials closer to their point of use after liaising with Machine Operators.
• Emptying all waster bins and ensuring they are in designated areas.
• Aligning and sorting layer boards for use at the palletizer.
• Decanting non-conforming product with the approval from the Team Leader.
• Assists in machine cleaning during MCS.
• Complying with SHEQ and manufacturing systems.
Qualifications And Experience
THE PERSON
The ideal applicants should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
• Minimum of 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
• Should have at least 1 year’ experience on a packaging line.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good self-management skills.
• Be a self-starter and team player.
• Must be attentive to detail.
• Should be mature and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Appreciation of SHEQ and manufacturing systems.
