Key Responsibilities

  • Supervisory Leadership: Directly supervise Cutters Supervisors, ensuring they maintain high productivity and safety standards among their crews.
  • Data Management: Collect, verify, and compile daily cutting schedules from the field for submission and compilation at the head office.
  • Operational Flow: Monitor daily harvesting progress against set targets and reallocate resources as needed to prevent downtime.
  • Quality Control: Conduct field inspections to ensure cutting height, trash management, and field hygiene comply with industry standards.
  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison between field supervisors and office staff regarding site conditions.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Not less than 2 years of hands-on experience specifically within the sugarcane farming sector.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Class 4 Driver’s License (clean record).
  • Age: Candidates must be below 40 years of age.
  • Skills: Strong report-writing skills, ability to manage a large workforce, and basic computer literacy for data compilation.
  • High integrity-ensuring field data matches office reports perfectly.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills when machinery or logistical issues arise.
