VACANCY
Reporting to the Organisation & Methods Manager, the successful candidate will execute O & M activities that enable the Authority to establish efficient customer focused and cost effective structures, staff compliments, procedures and working methods and strategies.
Key Outputs

Conduct investigations in respect of creation, abolishing, conversion regarding, redesigning, freezing and transfer of organisational requirements in order to determine appropriate manning levels and grades to meet the services requirements of the customers.

Carry out functions and organisational reviews to ensure functional rationalisation and value streams for various NSSA departments.

Draw and update structure charts for various NSSA departments in order to ensure accurate reporting structures.
-
Streamline functions to eliminate duplication and unnecessary costs.
-
Design and update forms to ensure that they align with work flow processes that is indispensable for both provision of services to clients.

Design and maintain updated establishment records for the reduction of costs and efficient delivery of various departments.

Ensure that establishment structure for all departments are not over-established in relation to authorised establishment.

Come up with performance standards to be used in determining manning levels and performance appraisals.

Discuss O & M reports with user departments and top management.

Assist the department in managing changes in client departments by assisting client managers with change management.

Prepare project time line to go e.g. job evaluation, IT systems development or intended change.

Ensure that all problems, resistance and resistance to change issues are handled professionally and appropriately and that all affected staff are fully consulted.

Carry out work study investigations and process models in reviewing NSSA systems and procedures.

Develop, review and produce procedure manuals for the Authority to ensure standards and efficient operations.
Qualifying Requirements
-
A Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent.
-
Certificate in Management Services UK or equivalent is a MUST.
-
At least 3 years’ experience in Work Study or O & M.
