Position Summary
The primary function of the Operations Officer is to help the Country Director and country programs, as assigned, on all issues of business continuity, accountability, staff and field safety and security issues. The Operations Officer oversees daily safety and security of staff and operational integrity of a country program sites. The Operations Officer will monitor and assess operational issues, safety and security issues in all operational areas and assist and provide direction to country management and field leaders, and coordinate with the Department of Global Security on all issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Law /Security/Risk Management/Social Sciences or related subjects plus relevant experience.
Experience
At least five (5) years of work experience in INGO, UN Operational Security Risk Management & Crisis Management in emergency as well as development settings
