This role will act as the Fund’s primary liaison across operational functions, ensuring alignment, visibility, and coordination of activities that drive member value and overall Fund performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily operations of the Medical Fund, ensuring all functional teams collaborate effectively and deliver on performance targets.
  • Serves as a connector between market-facing functions (Business Development, Key Account Management), Member serving functions (Medco and Health Services) and internal enabling departments (IT, Marketing, Finance)
  • Conducts regular market visits to observe member interactions, assess service delivery, and escalate identified issues to relevant units for resolution
  • Leads end-to-end management of strategic projects that enhance operational efficiency, establish market or product expansion, or improve fund performance and member service quality.
  • Establishes robust project governance structures that clearly define ownership, accountability, decision rights, and escalation paths across functions.
  • Updates, and maintains the Fund’s risk register in consultation with key functions Leads Fund coordination for risk management activities, including those beyond direct Fund control, by triggering timely action, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to mitigate impact.
  • Follows up on the implementation of agreed management actions, ensuring timely closure of issues identified through audits, reviews, or operational risk assessments.
  • Participates directly in client engagements to understand operational bottlenecks, provide escalation support beyond the Business Development Head and Principal Officer, and ensure timely resolution of client and partner issues.
  • Engages in networking activities to identify potential partnerships, gather market intelligence, and strengthen client relationships in alignment with business growth objective.

Requirements

  • First degree in Business Management/ Administration, Public Health, or equivalent.
  • Certification in Project Management, Certification in Change Management or Certification in Sales Management.
  • Post qualification in Operations Management or related field.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in operations management or related field.
  • 4-6 years’ experience Experience managing third-party vendors.
