A highly experienced and results-driven role overseeing and managing end-to-end customs clearing, freight forwarding, transit shed, and bonded warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate customs clearing, freight forwarding, transit shed, and bonded warehouse operations.
- Liaise with clients, ZIMRA, clearing agents, freight forwarders, and road, rail, air, and sea transport operators.
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Supervise, coach, and manage operational teams to meet service delivery targets.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and turnaround times.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
- A Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customs clearing and forwarding.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
