A well established Zimbabwean based engineering company with branches in Harare and Bulawayo and boasting 20 years of offering engineering solutions to the market seeks the services of an Operations Manager to, among other duties, perform the following broad functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage and coordinate the Projects Office, Technical Office, and the field works.
2. Lead the Structural Steel detailing and design aspects.
3. Approve quotations and tenders.
4. Oversee and approve all production procurements.
5. Select and engage Sub-Contractors.
6. Enforce Company policy and quality assurance policies.
7. Track projects and control costs.
8. Enforce systems and ensure proper documentation.
9. Represent the organization at all stakeholder levels.
10. Lead the Project planning, budgeting and execution process.
11. Command and portray a professional image.
12. Be adaptive to the ever-changing environment and react quickly to meet challenges.
13. Steer the Projects team by setting high-performance standards and ensuring deliverance.

Qualifications and Experience

1. A relevant degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
2. A professional qualification in either Engineering (Structural/Mechanical) or Project Management.
3. A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience at Senior Management Level.
