The incumbent is responsible for the management of Operating Theatres and CSSD, including the nursing, and auxiliary staff. They will work closely with the Medical Director.
The effective and time efficient management of theatre lists, and theatre bookings including emergency cases. Dealing with conflict resolution between consultants and staff.
Ordering, maintaining and auditing all stocks required to run the theatres and CSSD including equipment, medications, consumables, and cleaning products.
Maintaining infection control records and carrying out annual, 6 monthly and monthly swab checks or settle plates as required by statutory policy or as required.
To maintain service records of all equipment and ensure regular and correct servicing.
