The hospital is the newest Centre in the CURE network, opening its doors in April 2021 and specialising in the care of children living with physical disabilities. The CURE Children’s Hospital of Zimbabwe is the first hospital in Zimbabwe that is dedicated to serve vulnerable children and families through the provision of Orthopaedic and Spiritual Care.

JOB SUMMARY

Overall, in charge of the designated manages daily work flows. Provides direction and guidance to the team responsible for supervising and evaluating the provision of patient

client care documentation and Implementing Policies. Plans, organises and evaluates patient care.

Duties And Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overseeing patient’s Admissions.

Recording, reporting and maintaining statistics for the department.

To ensure that individual consultant care protocols are followed.

Performing Nursing procedures and treatment of patients as per Doctor’s prescription

Acts as a professional role model at all times upholding the standards and Ethics of the profession.

Promoting good interpersonal, interdepartmental relationships and personnel cooperation.

To maintain sound and effective working relationships and communication with all hospital departments and consultants.

To efficiently manage personnel workload, ensuring resources are used effectively

To ensure that Customer Care standards are adhered to.

Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications: Education and Experience:

Diploma in General Nursing

Post Basic Qualification an added advantage

Minimum of two years working in Outpatient Department, post qualification

Experience in working with children

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
