JF Kapnek Trust is a registered charitable trust, which has been operating in Zimbabwe since 1986. JF Kapnek Trust seeks to improve family health, reduce child mortality and create educational opportunities for children of Zimbabwe through the implementation of scalable sustainable programs.

The OI/ART Nurse will be seconded to the Ministry of Health and Child Care. The OI/ART Nurses reports to the Matron/Sister in Charge and must be a Registered Nurse with OI/ART experience and Integrated HIV Training; Rapid HIV Testing and Counselling qualifications and will be assigned to work at a health facility.

The Broad Objectives of the position will be:
Initiate eligible clients on Anti-retroviral (ARV) Treatment; Conduct Provider Initiated Testing and Counselling as per national guidelines; Documentation of clients in the relevant monitoring and evaluation tools(registers)

Qualifications and experience required
Registered General Nurse; HIV Integrated Training or Adult and Pediatric Art training; Rapid HIV Testing and Counseling; Current registration with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe; Knowledge of National AIDS and TB guidelines; Familiar with M&E tools for OI/ART management; A team player who can work with minimum supervision
