Main purpose of the job

The main purpose of the position is to ensure cleanliness of offices and timely delivery of all documents to intended recipients; and to perform a variety of support office duties that may be required.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Summary of Duties
2. Delivering and collecting documents, packages and correspondence and collecting supplies.
3. Keeping the work space clean at all times.
4. Requires walking and extensive use of hands.
5. Tasks Involved
6. Deliver and collect messages, documents, packages, and other items between offices or departments within an establishment or to other business concerns, traveling by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, automobile, or public conveyance.
7. Ensure that documents, packages or messages are delivered in a time efficient manner.
8. Running errands on behalf of the office and staff.
9. Collect and distribute stationery and office supplies as required.
10. Do reprographic work including duplicating, collating, stapling, and scanning, e.t.c.
11. Perform a number of daily cleaning duties which include:

 

1. Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors.
2. Dusting of furniture and equipment.

• Empting bins.

1. Tidying office space (cupboards, refrigerator, countertops, and other appliances).
2. Cleaning glass windows / panes, walls and doors.

1. Notify management of damages, deficiencies or needs for repairs.
2. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 

3. Requirements & Qualifications
4. Aged between 20 to 23
5. At least 5 O Levels.
6. Able to live or work in Harare.
7. Must be available to commence immediately.
8. Good communication skills.
9. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
