DESCRIPTION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position.
The Key Result Areas (KRAs) of the Occupational Nurse are shown hereunder:-
- Overseeing administrative and operational activities of occupational health services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.
- Implementation of the organisation’s health, safety and environmental policies.
- To provide professional health care and advice to employees.
- Referral and follow up of identified health needs.
- Conduct health and safety education.
- Perform pre-employment examinations
- Attend to occupational injuries
- Participate in occupational accidents investigations
- Maintain medical documents of employees ensuring confidentiality.
- Carry out occupational awareness on occupational wellness programs.
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly clinic reports for review by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in nursing
- Dispensing licence
- Minimum 5 years work experience.
