NURSE AIDE: (WCRC BULAWAYO x 1)- (GRADES)
Reporting to the Senior Nursing Officer, the successful candidate will provide basic nursing care to clients in the paraplegic unit, other dormitories and clinic.
Key Outputs
- Provide basic nursing care to all patients admitted at the Centre.
- Dump dust the dormitories and carbolise beds and equipment to maintain a safe environment for patients,
- Prepare dressing packs for autoclaving,
- Process admission and discharges
- Monitor patients’ progress and report.
- Linen management -sluice disinfect record linen and take it to laundry and receive it back
- Keep departmental records
Qualifying Requirements
- Nurse Aide Certificate or equivalent
- 5 ‘O’ levels including English Language and Mathematics.
- At least 1 year experience in a hospital environment

- Nurse Aide Certificate or equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of first Aid techniques
