One of our client is seeking a competent suitably trained and qualified Nurse aid to work within their organisation.
Duties And Responsibilities
– Help patients with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care;
– Take and record patient vital signs and weight
– Observe and record patients conditions, food and liquid intake and other behavior, and report changes to supervisor;
– Help patients walk with canes, walkers, or other devices
– Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for patients • Lift, transport, and move patients using the appropriate techniques;
– Treat all patients, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times;
– Comply with all safety and health regulations
Qualifications And Experience
– Must hold current Nurse Aid certification;
– Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred;
– Proven working relevent experience
– Must be in good physical health to be able to lift and move patients, and to be able to walk or stand for long periods of time;
– Must be compassionate and personable;
– Strong attention to detail;
– Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments;
-Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm
