Hwange Colliery Company Limited Holdings, a diversified local organisation with investment interests in Mining, Real Estate,
Health Care, Agriculture, Energy and Financial Services has a vacancy for the position of a Network Technician. Applications
are invited from suitably qualified candidates who meet the following minimum requirements.

• Hardware Installation and maintenance
• Monitor and Maintain radio communication Systems
• Telecommunication Systems Maintenance
• Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment
• PC Preventive Maintenance
• Project Support
• Perform Software Installations
• Fiber Cable Maintenance
• Provide Technical Support

Person Specification

• Experience in maintaining and monitoring network infrastructure including WANs VPNs and wireless networks
• Experience in PC maintenance
• Strong understanding of Hardware components, radio communication systems, VOIP Systems and trouble shooting techniques
• Experience in structured cabling and fibre splicing
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software
• Good communication skills
• Team collaboration
• Clean class four driver’s licence
• Minimum Two (2) years proven experience in a similar position

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• National Diploma in Computer Systems or Electronic Communication systems
• Diploma in IT or related field
• Certifications Relevant such as Comp TIA, A+, Network + and other equipment vendor – specific certifications( Kirisun, Motorola, Uip, Icom etc) or equivalent are preferred
• Apprenticeship training is an added advantage
