Role Purpose (Principal Functions):
To design, implement, and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure that supports business operations, ensures efficient troubleshooting, and aligns network systems with organizational and technological needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, reliability, and uptime.
- Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, VPNs, access controls).
- Diagnose and resolve network incidents to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and reporting.
- Improve efficiency through automation and continuous network improvement.
- Manage cloud and virtual network environments integrated with on-premises systems.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on network projects.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in [Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineer] or equivalent. CompTia Network+ Cisco CCNA/CCNP Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
- Minimum Experience: 5 or more years’ relevant experience in Networking
- Personal Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, good planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, deadline-driven, team-oriented, and vigilant.
