2023 GRADUATE TRAINEESHIP INTAKE
An Invitation is hereby extended to recent graduates who possess relevant qualifications as outlined below for Post Graduate Traineeship in the under-listed posts. The applicants must have at least a 2.1 Degree class and aged 30 years and below. Possession of a Class 4 Drivers’ Licence shall be an added advantage.
TRAFFIC OFFICERS:
Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Economics, Transport and Logistics or Operations Research and Statistics
MARKETING OFFICERS:
Degree in Marketing or Operations Research and Statistics
HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICERS:
Degree in Human Resources Management or Behavioural / Social Sciences
CIVIL/TRACKS ENGINEERS:
Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering acceptable to the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers for Corporate Membership
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, acceptable to the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers for Corporate Membership
MECHANICAL ENGINEERS:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Manufacturing Engineering acceptable to the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers for Corporate Membership
Applicants will be required to undergo a two (2) year training programme. Upon successful completion of the training period Trainees shall be posted anywhere in the Railway system at the exigency of service.
In the event of the employee:
- Abandoning his/her training
- Beinq liable to be expelled in his/her training
- Having his/her training withdrawn by the Railways on the grounds of unsatisfactory progress, attendance, conduct or any other grounds deemed reasonable by the Railways.
His/her contract of employment shall be terminated.
