MORTGAGES AND PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Reporting to the Divisional Director – Corporate and Investment Banking, the incumbent will be responsible for building a healthy mortgage portfolio through branches to achieve business targets of portfolio size, revenues, costs and P&L.
KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB
• Formulates and implements strategies for the business unit.
• Oversees the implementation of business unit budgets.
• Develops sales and marketing plan for mortgage business.
• Sources mortgage/housing development finance in liaison with local, regional and international mortgage/property development funders.
• Monitors margins for each product and recommends appropriate pricing strategies.
• Oversees underwriting of mortgage business.
• Prospects and recommends land banks for housing projects
• Oversees delivery of the Bank’s property development projects.
• Manages stakeholder relationships.
• Staff training and development.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A Business/Finance/Accounting/ Civil Engineering degree or related.
• Post Graduate qualification.
• MBA an added advantage.
• At least three years Senior Managerial experience in mortgage financing.
