VACANCY NOTICE
In line with die Corporation’s strategic initiatives towards increased value addition and foreign currency generation. Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), is seeking for suitably qualifier! candidates to fill the* following positions:

Reporting to the Chief Monitor, these positions exist to ensure effective accounting of national mineral resources by reducing losses through involvement in the minerals production and sales value chain and enforcing compliance in line with the Corporation and national policies.
The incumbents will be responsible for:-
⦁ Examining and keeping records relating to production or sales of minerals al producer’s mines.
⦁ Monitoring and auditing mineral production processes and value chains.
⦁ Monitoring sales and verifying mineral consignment before dispatch from the mine or plant.
⦁ Verifying seals, weighing of minerals and relevant documentation on delivery from mines.
⦁ Producing metallurgical accounts and referring samples ol metallurgical streams (or assay at independent laboratories.
⦁ Sampling of mineral consignments before export or metallurgical streams for verification at independent laboratories.
⦁ Liaising with Geological Survey department to obtain geological/exploration data for mineral producing sites to assist in mineral resource accounting
⦁ Mineral identification and quality grading of minerals found al mining sites
⦁ Monitoring and facilitating of lender processes and check compliant e with regulatory procedures.
⦁ Curtailing potential mineral leakages and under declarations by all stakeholders.
⦁ Maintaining and analysing records of exchange assays from both producers and customers.
⦁ Submitting weekly and monthly operations reports.
⦁ Checking, compliance with relevant laws by producers and recommending improvements.
⦁ Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Superior.

Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience
⦁ Degree in Geology or any other relevant degree.
⦁ 2 years relevant experience in melallurgical/mineral n^ource accounting, mineral identification, analysis and process audits.
⦁ Clean class 4 Drivers’ License.
The Monitors shall be stationed as determined by the employer and rotated from time to time.
