The position is responsible for carrying out MEAL duties of the organization across board.
Duties And Responsibilities
Position responsibilities
Implementation of projects monitoring and evaluation systems; Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures; Ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation of projects activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving projects results; Recommend further improvement of the logical framework; Develop monitoring and impact indicator for projects success; Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results; Monitor the sustainability of the projects results; Provide feedback to the Operations Manager on projects strategies and activities; Report monthly, quarterly, half – yearly and annual progress on all projects’ activities to the Operations Manager; Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system; Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports; Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Operations Manager in preparing relevant reports; Perform other duties as required
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications & skills
At least a degree or certificate in Monitoring & Evaluation with 2 years’ experience or more in a similar position; Should be able to work with minimal supervision; Excellent reporting skills with good oral and written communication skills; Excellent computer skills; Understanding of gender mainstreaming.
