MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICERS (3 posts) – VICE CHANCELLOR’S OFFICE
Role Purpose:
As a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation plans and reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Lead in the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools and systems.
- Preparation and implementation of monitoring surveys, evaluations and assessments survey.
- Development and management of a programme databases to monitor indicators and beneficiary data.
- Organise and deliver stakeholder training on survey tools for various projects and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Ensure regular collection, documentation and quality assessment of project data to monitor activities and track progress towards objectives.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Social Science, Science, Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent, from a reputable institution.
- A Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or related field would be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ working experience in monitoring and evaluation or related fields.
- Familiarity with participatory assessment, monitoring and evaluation, data processing, or analysis.
- Proficiency in computer-based statistical packages such as SPSS, KoBoCollect, NVIVO, Advanced Excel, and information dissemination software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with developing and delivering training is a plus.
