Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the above vacant post. The
the incumbent will report to the Compliance, Monitoring, and Evaluation Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assisting the Manager in reviewing and evaluating Authority procedures and reports to identify
hidden or non-conformity issues,
● Assisting in the development and strengthening of monitoring, inspection, and evaluation
procedures,
● Monitoring of all project activities, expenditures, and progress toward achieving project
outputs,
● Providing feedback to the Manager on project strategies and activities,
● Suggesting strategies to the Manager for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the
Authority’s systems and projects by identifying gaps and recommending plans to minimize and
eliminate such gaps,
● Assisting in monitoring and evaluating overall progress on achievement of results,
● Drafting monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress reports on all project activities to
the Manager,
● Participating in planning workshops and assisting the manager in preparing relevant reports,
● Assisting in coordinating across the available components of the Authority to ensure effectively
implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation,
● Assisting in preparing other relevant reports,
● Assisting in organizing and conducting training on Monitoring and Evaluation,
● Assisting in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from the project
innovations and maintaining the monitoring and evaluation database.
Qualifications and Experience
● A first degree in Monitoring and Evaluation,
● A Master’ degree in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage,
● A Clean Class 4 Drivers’ License,
● Proficiency in the use of MS Office Packages, Statistical Packages, SPSS, and Starter,
● Excellent Communication and Writing skills,
● Good analytical skills,
● At least 2 years of relevant experience
