JOB TITLE: MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER
REPORTS TO: PROJECTS, PROPERTIES, AND AMENITIES MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE
The position exists to monitor all project activities and conduct critical and in-depth monitoring processes, and make sure all project activities are in the right way, and perform according to the right parameters set in the project initiation proposal.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Design and develop appropriate monitoring and evaluation (M & E) systems.
⦁ Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures.
⦁ Develop monitoring and impact indicators.
⦁ Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs.
⦁ Develop and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.

⦁ Coordinate implementation of compendium projects, 100-day program and the Electronic Executive Dashboard (EED).
⦁ Liaise with project clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
⦁ Participate in stakeholder consultation and baseline studies.
⦁ Ensure coordination between project clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation by more than one entity.
⦁ Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
⦁ Provide feedback to the Projects Manager on projects strategies and activities.
⦁ Prepare routine and on-demand projects reports, project performance reports to the Projects Manager, stakeholders and clients.
EDUCATION
1. Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, IT or equivalent.
2. Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
3. Expertise in analysing data using statistical software.
4. Strong training and facilitation skills an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E in the development of projects in the Public Sector or Private Organisations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
⦁ Ability and proven capacity to use ICTs for project monitoring and evaluation.
⦁ Good written and verbal communication skills.
⦁ Good reporting and presentation skills.
⦁ Pay attention to detail.
