ROLE TITLE: MINING SUPERVISOR

1. PROFILE DESCRIPTION

Qualifications and Experience:

• National Diploma in Mining from the Zimbabwe School of Mines/Mining Engineering Degree
• At least 5-years post learnership experience on open pit/cast mining operation as part of owner team
• Contract management experience
• Full Blasting Licence
• Clean, class 4 drivers’ licence

2. WORK OUTPUT DESCRIPTION

The role is responsible supervising all open cast mining operations on site.

Core work outputs:

• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
• Production volumes
• Grade control
• Contractor management
• Cost control
• Progressive rehabilitation management
