Job Summary
We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, results oriented and purpose driven Mining Engineer/Superintendent to join our mining company.

Duties And Responsibilities

 Assessing the feasibility and the potential for commercial benefit of new sites
 Ascertaining extraction risks
 Producing models or plans for possible mining sites
 Planning and implementing extraction systems
 Using specialist computer applications to maximise planning and production
 Managing construction projects
 Ensuring that operations comply with health and safety requirements
 Making sure that the equipment used is safe

Qualifications And Experience

 Diploma in Mining with School of Mines or Degree in Mining Engineering.
 3 years’ experience in a mining environment
 Full Blasting licence
 Clean class 4 driver’s licence
 Familiar in open pit mining
 Computer skills added advantage
 Geotechnical understanding of pit design and discontinuity analysis
 Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of our organisation
 Team player, willing to collaborate, support and challenge ideas
 Ability to write clear and concise technical reports
 Excellent presentation skills with ability to present to a variety of audiences
