Key Responsibilities

• Adheres to health, safety and environmental standards at the mine.
• Conduct regular surveys of the mine site including both surface and underground operations, to collect and interpret spatial data.
• Monitoring and verifying the accuracy of survey data.
• Produces layouts for mining reconciliations.
• Measures developments and stockpiles to produce month end reports.
• Provide survey input for mine planning and development.
• Provides surveying expertise and ensures compliance with survey regulations and standards.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly survey reports detailing production, progress, variances, and compliance.
• Maintain and update survey records, including maps, and drawings ensuring that data is organized and accessible.
• Marks and maintains beacons and claims boundaries.
• Identify geotechnical and operational hazards during surveys and report them immediately.

Requirements

• Diploma in Surveying.
• At least 3 years experience in the Mining.
• Proficiency in Mine Surveying software.
