Job Description
We seek to recruit experienced and qualified personnel for the following openings based at Jena Mines in Silobela:
Mine Section Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Mine Section Engineer to join our Engineering team, reporting to the Resident Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure equipment maintenance and or efficient management that is equipment availability to ensure production targets are met.
Implements effective engineering or cost management processes to enhance the profitability of the organisation.
Ensure total compliance to mining standards and legal requirements through regular inspections.
Applies relevant engineering expertise to ensure compliance to all engineering standards.
Ensures total compliance to SHEQ policies and procedures in the section.
Qualifications and Experience
A b o u t Yo u
BSc (Hons) Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4 years relevant experience in the Mining industry, OR
Higher National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience in the Mining industry.
Must be a member of a professional institute such as Zimbabwe Institute of Engineering.
