Botvan Investments, a small to medium-scale company in the Midlands, is seeking a highly competent Mine Manager for our operations in Gweru and Silobela.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily mining operations and ensure production targets are met
- Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage and lead a team of miners and support staff
- Monitor and control mining costs, budgets, and resources
- Ensure environmental sustainability and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities and government agencies
Requirements
- ‘O’ Level Certificate
- Zimbabwe Mine Blasting License
- Minimum 5 years of mining experience
- Proven track record of production-oriented leadership
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proactive approach to safety measures and compliance
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive and results-driven approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
