MILLWRIGHT
Applications are invited for the MILLWRIGHT vacancy that has arisen within Baker’s Inn Manufacturing – Northern Region, Harare.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:
• Ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.
• Testing, calibrating, installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
• Performing general maintenance on machinery and related plant systems.
• Ensuring that the plant and machinery always comply with NSSA safety regulations.
• Understanding, interpreting, and implementing quality standards for machinery.
• Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensuring timely repairs.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications: –
• National Certificate in Millwright Work.
• Millwright Class 1 Journeyman Card.
• At least 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience in the food or bakery industry (Experience with bread slicing machines is an added advantage).
• Computer literacy.
• Membership in a professional body is an added advantage.
• A clean Class 4 Driver’s license is an added advantage.
