Applications are invited for the MILLWRIGHT position that has arisen within Baker’s INN Manufacturing – Northern Region, Harare.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
– Ensuring equipment functions properly, safely, and efficiently.
– Testing, calibrating, installing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting manufacturing equipment.
– Performing general maintenance on equipment and plant designs.
– Ensuring plant machinery meets NSSA safety requirements.
– Understanding and implementing quality requirements for machinery.
– Attending to breakdowns.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:
– A National Certificate in Millwright work.
– A Millwright Class 1 Journeyman card.
– At least three years of post-apprenticeship experience in the food or bakery industry. Knowledge of bread slicing machines is an added advantage.
– Computer literacy.
– Membership to a professional body (added advantage).
– A clean Class 4 driver’s license (added advantage).
