Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks to keep production equipment, building facilities and utilities in a functional mode in line with the company’s Planned Maintenance system.
· Carry out emergency/unscheduled maintenance on equipment at times during production.
· Analyze equipment breakdowns and recommend appropriate remedial actions that prevent recurrence.
· Carrying out machinery modifications and upgrades through fabrication amongst other means.
· Fitting machine parts such as but not limited to bearings, valves, drives, breakers, sensors among others during scheduled maintenance or projects.
· Assist Plant Operators in carrying out autonomous maintenance that include cleaning of machines, setting up, carrying out minor adjustments among other activities.
· Completing work orders and assisting Foreman in updating maintenance records.
· Carrying out equipment qualification and re-qualification as per Validation Master Plan (VMP).
· Participating in execution of CAPEX projects at plant.
· Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience
· Class 1 apprentice trained Millwright.
· At least 2 years working experience in heavy manufacturing industry.
· Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO9001, ISO14001 quality standards an added advantage.
· Mature person with at least 24 years of age.
