We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metallurgist to join our team at our plant in Mutoko, Zimbabwe.

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Metallurgist with expertise in Carbonin-Pulp (CIP) gold processing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and will play a critical role in optimizing our gold recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Oversee and manage the CIP gold processing operations to ensure optimal performance and recovery rates.
⦁ Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis to improve process efficiency and product quality.
⦁ Develop and implement process improvements to enhance gold recovery and reduce operational costs.
⦁ Monitor plant performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
⦁ Collaborate with the operations team to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
⦁ Prepare and present technical reports on process performance and improvements.
⦁ Train and mentor junior metallurgists and plant operators to build a strong and knowledgeable team.

Qualifications:
HND in Metallurgy/ Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
⦁ Minimum of 5 years of experience in metallurgical operations, specifically in CIP gold processing.
⦁ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
⦁ In-depth knowledge of metallurgical principles and practices related to gold processing.
⦁ Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
⦁ Proficiency in using metallurgical software and tools.
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
