Supervisor/Manager: Operations Manager
Summary
A mature, responsible candidate to drive the office vehicle safely and efficiently in conducting official business of the Hospital, while performing the following duties.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• The incumbent must be able to understand the specific vehicle operating manual and to operate every device in the car.
• Maintain the vehicles in a clean, polished and flawless operating condition and to report any problems related to the functioning and maintenance of the vehicle to the Operations Manager.
• Collecting, checking, and signing for parcels (all relevant documentation) at their respective collection and dropping points.
• Taking special care to load the parcels into the vehicle in a safe manner.
• Devising and choosing the most effective routes.
• Advising the line manager of deliveries that could not be fulfilled.
• The candidate will be required to observe all necessary protocol in relating to any dignitaries and their families or guests that they will be transporting.
Qualification and Experience
At least 5 O’ levels including English Class 2 Drivers Licence Previous experience in a similar position. Valid driver’s license Class 2 and Defensive Driver’s Certificate Familiarity with the layout of the general delivery area and off-road. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks within given time frame. Character and work reference letters a must.Job Summary
