Key Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the engineering division.
• Plans, coordinates, and oversees engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manages operational resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Develops and implements operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Monitors project performance and prepares regular management reports.
• Ensures compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Mentors and supervises technical and operational teams.
• Identifies business development opportunities and support the growth of the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration with a recognized engineering body is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or operations leadership role.
• Proven experience in engineering project management, maintenance operations, fabrication, construction, or related industrial environments.
• Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
• Sound knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and operational planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• A mature individual with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
