Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, commission and maintain mechanical equipment used in mining and mineral processing operations.
- Maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, mills and other processing equipment.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct root-cause failure analysis. Support the operation and optimisation of chrome, antimony and tungsten processing plants.
- Provide technical support for slag and mining-dump recycling equipment. Ensure equipment reliability, safety and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in mining, mineral processing, heavy machinery or industrial processing plants will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, rotating equipment, hydraulics and industrial machinery.
- Ability to work at mining and processing sites in Kwekwe, Gweru or Chiredzi.
