Key Responsibilities

  • -Assisting with the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment for the concrete manufacturing plant.
  • -Supervising the installation and alignment of concrete mixers, conveyors, batching equipment, crushers, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
  • -Developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for plant machinery.
  • -Diagnosing mechanical faults and coordinating repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
  • -Monitoring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical equipment.
  • -Reviewing mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, installation procedures, and technical documentation.
  • -Ensuring machinery is installed and operated in accordance with applicable engineering and safety standards.
  • -Coordinating with electrical, civil, production, and other technical personnel during plant establishment and commissioning.
  • -Maintaining appropriate maintenance, inspection, repair, and equipment performance records.
  • -Providing technical recommendations for improving plant efficiency, equipment reliability, and production capacity.

Requirements

  • -A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.

  • -Knowledge of industrial machinery installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • -Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
