Qualifications and Experience

Artisan Class 1 Motor Mechanics
At least two years work experience on different small engines (e.g. brush cutters, lawn mowers, motor bikes)
Experience in a tertiary institution would be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspecting on a regular or daily basis the condition/status of all University small engines machines.
Maintaining, repairing and servicing small engines machines.
Sourcing and recommending the purchase of suitable spares.
Maintaining relevant records for the running and maintenance of all small engines
machines.
Checking on the work done on University small engines machines whenever external service providers do the repairs.
Contributing to the success of the Central Services and Amenities Department by performing all other essential duties as assigned.
