MECHANIC (Grade 5)

Qualifications and Experience

Journeyman Class 3 or better
2 years relevant experience.
Should be below 35 years Able to work under minimum supervision.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Carrying out planned maintenance and repair on all mobile equipment. 2. Servicing all council vehicles.
3. To raise job card for every repair job as a record and control of the maintenance system, to enable all work to be planned, actioned, costed and recorded.
4. Ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order hence maximum productivity at all times.
